Your Session

When you arrive for your professional model portfolio shoot at our studio in Scarborough, the first thing we will do is have a chat and get to know you. This is important as it breaks down any barriers between yourself, the creative team and your photographer, it helps us to steer the shoot down the right path for your target market and personality. This is such an important process if you want your images to make an impact with agencies.

Our photographer will go through the clothes that you have brought and discuss ideas, makeup and looks. We also have a range of props and creative ideas so if you dont have anything you feel is suitable, inform the team and we can put something together for you. Use magazines and other publications as reference guides for the types of images you'll want to include in your portfolio. This will help you get an idea of the type of shoot you'll need to set up.

As a team we are always looking for an original approach to get the best image. All we ask is you be yourself and by giving you guidance and direction where necessary we will be sure to capture your personality.

Your Preview

Once we have taken your photos, it's time to review them and pick the best. You'll want to make sure to have the following among your images: headshot, 3/4 body shot, full body shot. You'll want different outfits to show diversity as well. Play with poses and choose a variety...if you have the same poses over and over your portfolio will be boring.
